Weekly Writing prompt

Today’s Writing Prompt is also from Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg. It is all about Telling me about Yesterday. What I will do is write about five to ten minutes about yesterday and see what comes of it.

Tell me about yesterday . . .

Yesterday started about like any other day. Lots of doctor appointments for my parents and myself. It was chaotic to begin with, but it as I always say, life is life. That has become my new saying for each day. After that it was a day of rushing to eat, and I bought a fresh fit sub from Subway. It was excellent, even though it fell apart. After that, I worked on school work, which I put aside quickly because I was ahead, like going into my last week. I felt lost not having anything to do, so I went back to school work, and ended up doing all the reading required for next week in both courses. After that, I fixed supper and made sure everyone had their medications and insulin, besides me. I forgot mine. Then I wrote on Guardian Prime All Primer. I got a chapter revised, which I was thrilled to say. By then, it was time to wind down and watch some television with my parents until bedtime.

Today’s writing prompt didn’t really help me much on the writing front, but it did give me an insight into how busy my days are. Not to mention how much my school work seems to fit into my daily life, which is a good thing. It also showed me I can fit in more writing time each day by doing so in the evening. So, I learned from this prompt, just not on the writing front itself.
